Dolphin Care Uk is determined to help stop the needless killing of our beautiful dolphins.
In order to make a difference in the quality of life we live, and to leave a legacy of value for the society that follows us, Dolphin Care Uk is committed to creating a "A path of awareness." Although all forms of life are ultimately important in the spectrum of our planet, we at Dolphin Care Uk have narrowed our focus to one item of life. The cetaceans, living in harmony within their surroundings.
What is important now and for the future, will lie in the hand's of our children. Our ultimate wish here at Dolphin Care Uk is to convey the message of Ecological Preservation to young people and to get them interested and excited about one species in nature. To understand a particular species and to define it unconditionally is to realize its importance within our environment. If you love something, you should defend it!
The death of dolphins and porpoises in fishing nets is not only a conservation issue, but also a critical welfare matter. If we do not protect the dolphins now, will there be any left to protect in the future.
What we believe
This website will utilize our own and other scientific data, to educate the local, regional and national public, from a scientific perspective, about the marine environment and the need for marine conservation. Our conservation program will work independently and in alliances with other non-governmental organizations, government agencies, and lawmakers, to prevent actions which potentially cause harm or negative impact on our dolphins populations, and to promote practices and legislation to provide increased protection to the oceans, sea's and its inhabitants.
Dolphin Care Uk works on a local, regional and national level, with emphasis on projects and programs impacting the fragile and unique marine environment of the Coasts around the Uk, and in particular to research and to gather data that's necessary for the protection of our dolphins, and the marine environment.
This website is Dedicated to the understanding of Marine Life through research, education, conservation and innovation, Dolphin Care Uk is a non-profit organization founded in 2002. We all must help to protect our marine mammals and the environment in which they live, and to better understand the role and responsibility humans have in the management of marine mammals in the wild.
A tighter control is needed to stop fishing boats from catching Dolphins and Porpoises in their nets.
